Help Wanted: Vet Tech

The Goathouse Refuge in Pittsboro, N.C., seeks an organized, compassionate part-time vet tech who enjoys working with cats. Shifts are 7:30am-noon, and 4-7pm, every other Saturday (both shifts) and every other Monday evening. Responsibilities include monitoring sick cats; administering oral medication, shots and subcutaneous fluids; food prep; working with volunteers; cleaning the kitchen, cages, floors, and laundry; maintaining up-to-date animal records. The Goathouse Refuge is a 501c3 non-profit animal sanctuary dedicated to providing cage-free care for cats regardless of age, medical issues or disposition until a permanent home can be found.
