Cat of the Week: Avery

Avery is looking for love. He gets along fine with other cats, but it’s people he is really interested in. When you pet this cat, he gets the sweetest blissed-out look in his eyes. It’ll melt your heart to see how grateful this fellow is when you pay attention to him; he just soaks it up like a sponge. Avery loves to cuddle, and is the kind of cat who gets on your lap, nestles right in, and makes it clear that he plans to stay awhile. He’s really hoping that someone will pick him out of the large black cat crowd at the refuge and give him a forever home.
