Goathouse Gazette Seeking Submissions

The Goathouse Gazette is the literary magazine of the Goathouse Refuge and it wishes to honor the place animals hold in our lives by publishing artistic and literary endeavors that celebrate their relationships with all of Earth’s creatures. We aim to feature significant works that illustrate the complexity and sentiment of those relationships.
Our purpose, as with all undertakings of the Goathouse Refuge, is to ensure that all animals are treated with dignity and humanity. To that end, we especially invite art and literature that furthers the cause of ridding the world of gas and non-sedated euthanasia and other abuses that we see constantly in shelters.
