HOME VISITS
Home Visit volunteers conduct virtual visits with prospective adopters to share insights and required information and assess the overall home environment.
Key roles of our Home Visit volunteers include:
- Contacting prospective adopters to schedule a virtual home visit
- Discussing our adoption materials in detail
- Providing advice or suggestions to any potential questions surrounding cat ownership, the adoption process, or the refuge in general
- Writing a detailed email report following each visit, to be reviewed by the Home Visit volunteer team
- Following up with approved adopters within 1-2 weeks after
the adoption
MONTHLY TIME COMMITMENT: 1-2 hrs/month (approx. 2 visits/month)
