URGENT NEED FOR VOLUNTEERS – PLEASE HELP. One of our newest arrivals sure hopes you can take a few hours and come help keep the Refuge clean for him and all his friends – he thinks you are the best!
We really need your help. It’s kitten season and even if you’re only available every other week, that would be a great help! We’re located at 680 Alton Alston Road in Pittsboro, NC. We need help every day of the week – on both morning and evening shifts.
Can you please help?! Morning shifts typically run from 8:30 to 11:30 AM and evening shifts run from 3 to 6 PM. Shift times are approximate – if you are interested but you have a schedule concern, please contact us and we’ll do our best to accommodate your schedule. The kitties need you! We can use volunteers on every day on any shift. Please either fill out a volunteer application, contact us if you can help us in any way via email or by calling 919-542-6815.
A volunteer shift consists of a few hours spent feeding, cleaning, sweeping, mopping (AM only), and bonding with our 200+ cats. We know that we couldn’t keep the Refuge going without our wonderful volunteers. The cats and the staff really appreciate everything the volunteers do to help us keep the Refuge clean and comfy. You’ll get a great big thank you from the kitties! Remember, a “meow” massages the heart…please fill out a volunteer application today!
